introduction

Maybe a better way to start a blog was by introducing myself ? I learned to knit a school, when I was about 8 years old. I really hated it then. They made me stay indoors during recreation, to finish my project; it was cotton knitted underwear !
In highschool the girls had home economics, and there we knitted also (age 12 to 14). And then it stopped.
I took it back up when my children were born - I liked making something with my own hands for them. From then on I always have been a moderate knitter - finishing 2/3 sweaters a year (for myself).
I have really begun knitting 'seriously' about 9 years ago, when I had to rest after knee surgery, and I discovered all the resources on the internet. I also started collecting yarn when discovering Kaffe Fassett designs. Now I knit averagely 30 projects a year (lots of small stuff), but still finishing 3 adult sweaters.
lately I have been suffering with my shoulder - I really should do it easy. I like smaller and lightweight project (like lace) now.
I have been considering starting a blog, but am afraid it will take away to much time from my knitting. Also, there are so many wonderfull and inspirational knitting blogs out there, that I feel I don't have much to add. My knitting is very humble, compared to all the masterpieces out there.
