Last weekend I visited the German Ravelry meeting in Bonn. I traveled by train together with Line, and we had 3 hours and a half of traintravel (one way) to knit and chat...
Het is inspirerend om zoveel projecten, technieken, garens en gepassioneerde mensen bijeen te zien in een (beetje kitscherig) hotel. Bonn is niet zo ver weg, op één dag over en weer was te doen, maar we waren toch doodmoe toen we terug thuiskwamen na een lange treinreis. En dan hadden we nog niet eens een workshop gevolgd...
It was a very inspirational day. It was held in a bit an oldfashioned hotel in Bonn, and everything was very well organized. We saw interesting projects, met people, and touched lots of yarns... At the end of the day we were dead tired, not only because of the long train ride, but also because of all the new idea's spinning in our heads...and we did not even take any of the workshops!
En nu zondag 30 september is er de Belgische Ravelry bijeenkomst. Een beetje kleiner, gewoon in café ViaVia in Brussel, geen verkoopstandjes, maar gezellig samenbreien en geïnspireerd worden...
