Mystery stole finished

This is my finished mystery stole (and that's about as much as I am willing to picture myself). But, for the sake of clarity, it is necessary to see this stole 'modeled', and not just a flat picture. There has been a lot of talk about the design, and the assymetry of it. That doesn't bother me really. It was a fun knit, and knitting this, I realised my lace knitting skills have improved the last years. I really struggled with Mystery stole1, I had issues with Mystery stole 2. Mystery Stole 3 (Swan lake) was a smooth knit.
The specs - knitted in Schachenmayr Nomotta Rheuma thermal wolle. This is not really a lace-weight, but thinner then fingering weight (310 meter to 50 grams). It's meant to be knit into thermal underwear, so it only comes in natural colors. Sometimes I splitted the yarn when knitting it, it doesn't have a tight twist. You just have to pay attention. It's a 100% superwash wool.

What's next : I'll have to tackle the border-issue of lizard ridge. And I really need to knit baby things - 3 collegues expecting. But right now, all I want is a mindless project. So I started some socks, with yarn I bought in Oslo (forgot to mention that in my trip report). It's Garnstudio 'fabel' sock yarn. You can also see the 'needle huggers' I bought in Helsinki in action. Aren't those supercute ?

Details : gebreid in Schachenmayr nomotta rheuma thermal wolle.

It's truly lovely! But alas, I am not into asymmetry, It would drive me crazy.

Absolutely stunning. Your knitting is just beautiful. Thank you for modeling it for us. You have inspired me to give my white one another try. I am now knitting the wing on my plum one but the white went into timeout because the yarn was a pain to knit - very splitty.

Great knitting lately! Will you show the socks when they're finished? Socks will be my next 'learn to' project and I need all the inspiration I can get!
